The Bible

We believe the Bible, consisting of the 66 books of the Old and New Testament, to be the only inspired and inerrant Word of God and the supreme and final authority for our faith and life.

The Trinity

We believe that there is one God, eternally existing in three persons: Father, Son, and Holy Spirit.

Jesus Christ

We believe Jesus was fully God and fully human. He was born of the Virgin Mary, lived a sinless life, and died on the cross in our place to pay the penalty for the sins we have committed.  He rose from the dead in bodily form and ascended to the right hand of the Father in heaven.  Jesus will return a second time in power and glory. 

Redemption

We believe that for salvation of sinful humanity, becoming a new creation by the Holy Spirit is essential. We believe the only way to redemption (to be saved) is by confession of Jesus Christ as our personal Lord and Savior.

The Holy Spirit

We believe that the Holy Spirit came forth from the Father and the Son to convict the world of sin, righteousness, and judgment, and to regenerate, sanctify, and empower all who believe in Jesus Christ. We believe that the Holy Spirit dwells in every believer in Christ, and that He is an abiding helper, teacher, and guide.

The Resurrection

We believe in the resurrection of both the saved and the lost; they that are saved unto the resurrection of eternal life, and they that are lost to a resurrection of eternal punishment and separation from God.

Spiritual Unity

We believe in the spiritual unity of all believers in Christ.

1. Intimacy with God

• Scripture: “Remain in me, as I also remain in you.” – John 15:4
• Core Idea: A personal, growing relationship with God is foundational.
• Explanation: Everything we do flows from a deep connection with God through prayer, worship, and Scripture. We prioritize time with Him over performance for Him.

2. Biblical Truth

• Scripture: “All Scripture is God-breathed and useful for teaching…” – 2 Timothy 3:16
• Core Idea: God’s Word is our guide and authority.
• Explanation: We are rooted in the Bible — in what we teach, how we lead, and how we live. It shapes our identity, our relationships, and our mission.

3. Authentic Community

• Scripture: “They devoted themselves to the apostles’ teaching and to fellowship…” – Acts 2:42
• Core Idea: We grow better together.
• Explanation: Church isn’t just a service; it’s a spiritual family. We pursue honesty, accountability, and encouragement through relationships that reflect God’s love.

4. Servant Leadership

• Scripture: “The Son of Man did not come to be served, but to serve…” – Matthew 20:28
• Core Idea: Leadership is about humility and lifting others up.
• Explanation: Jesus modeled leadership by serving. We follow His example by putting others first and using our gifts to build up the Church and community.

5. Spirit-Led Living

• Scripture: “Since we live by the Spirit, let us keep in step with the Spirit.” – Galatians 5:25
• Core Idea: We follow the Holy Spirit’s guidance in all we do.
• Explanation: Ministry is not about control but surrender. We seek God’s direction and power in every decision, trusting Him to lead the way.

6. Relational Discipleship

• Scripture: “Go and make disciples of all nations…” – Matthew 28:19
• Core Idea: We make disciples through intentional relationships.
• Explanation: Discipleship happens through life-on-life investment — walking with others as they grow in Christ, not just teaching but modeling.

7. Missional Living

• Scripture: “As the Father has sent me, I am sending you.” – John 20:21
• Core Idea: We are all sent to share the Gospel.
• Explanation: Whether at school, work, or church, we live on mission — showing and sharing Jesus wherever we go.

8. Generous Living

• Scripture: “Each of you should use whatever gift you have received to serve others...” – 1 Peter 4:10
• Core Idea: We give freely because God gave everything for us.
• Explanation: Whether it’s time, talents, or resources, we live with open hands. We serve with joy, give with purpose, and trust God to use our generosity to impact lives.
